Laedan Professional Services, LLC
OUR MISSION
We accompany leaders on their journey to becoming their best self so that they can more effectively lead making a positive difference in the world. Our services create experiences that empower and equip leaders to transform themselves, their leadership, and their teams towards reaching their maximum potential—towards realizing greater effectiveness, contribution, service, fulfillment, and success.
OUR NAME
The word lead finds its origins in the Middle English word leden meaning “to conduct, accompany; bring, take, or guide” and the Old English lǣdan meaning “to go by sea, sail, or travel.”
In one word, our name recognizes that we are all on a journey and that the best leaders invite others on a shared journey and then leads, guides, and accompanies them towards a common destination. It also puts an emphasis on the journey itself.
OUR MOTTO
"The journey is the reward."
This ancient Chinese proverb reminds us that when you finally reach the end of a long journey, the goal, outcome, or final destination—while still important—may not be the most important thing anymore. What you did to get there, who you encountered along the way, and what you overcame, experienced, and learned oftentimes becomes the most valuable reward.
